Since 2001, he had been the artistic director of the film festival Il Cinema Ritrovato in Bologna. Von Bagh was a member of the jury in the competition category of 2004 Cannes Film Festival.

Kaija Anneli Saariaho is a Finnish composer based in Paris, France.

Veikko Kankkonen is a retired Finnish ski jumper who competed at the 1960, 1964 and 1968 Winter Olympics. He won two medals in 1964 with a gold in the individual normal hill and a silver in the individual large hill event. That same year he won the jumping competition at the Holmenkollen ski festival, which also earned him the Holmenkollen medal. He also won the Four Hills Tournament and served as the flag bearer for Finland at the 1968 Olympics.

Prince Dmitry Mikhailovich Golitsyn or Gallitzin was a Russian diplomat, philanthropist and art collector from the Golitsyn family. He was the son of Field Marshal Michael Gallitzin and grandson of Prince Boris Kurakin.
