Elia Viviani is an Italian professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Cofidis. On 10 May 2015, Viviani won his first Grand Tour stage victory at the Giro d'Italia, winning stage 2 in a bunch sprint before Moreno Hofland and André Greipel. In August 2016 Viviani won gold in the omnium at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Viviani's nickname in the peloton is "Il Veggente" for his ability to foresee line moves of other sprinters during the sprint.

He is the only mountaineer to have ascended ten mountains of more than 8,000 meters after turning 60, and he is the oldest person in history to have successfully climbed the K2, Broad Peak (68), Makalu (69), Gasherbrum I (70), Manaslu, Kanchenjunga and Annapurna.

Lydia Ernestine Becker was a leader in the early British suffrage movement, as well as an amateur scientist with interests in biology and astronomy. She is best remembered for founding and publishing the Women's Suffrage Journal between 1870 and 1890.
