Laura Tarantola is a French rower. At the 2018 European Rowing Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, she won the silver medal in light weight skiffs. In the 2018 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, she won a gold medal in the women's lightweight single sculls event.

He also played for the France national football team. He earned nine caps in 1981–82 and was part of the French squad for the 1982 FIFA World Cup. In 1989, he joined the Olympique Marseille and retired in 1990. Castaneda also coached FC Istres and US Marseille Endoume.
