Thomas was a priority pick in 2005 where he then played with the Collingwood Football Club from 2006 to 2013 before transferring to the Blues in 2014.

John Noel William Newman, better known as Sam Newman, is an Australian media executive and radio and television personality. Originally known for his contribution to Australian rules football as a player for the Geelong Football Club, he has come to be better known as a media personality with controversial views on certain topics.

Stephen Rodger Waugh is a former Australian international cricketer and twin brother of cricketer Mark Waugh. A right-handed batsman, he was also a medium-pace bowler. As Australian captain from 1997 to 2004, he led Australia to fifteen of their record sixteen consecutive Test wins, and to victory in the 1999 Cricket World Cup.
