Friedrich Schütter (1921–1995) was a German film and television actor. He was the German dubbing voice of Lorne Greene.

Joan Hinton was a nuclear physicist and one of the few women scientists who worked for the Manhattan Project in Los Alamos. She lived in the People's Republic of China after 1949, where she and her husband Erwin (Sid) Engst participated in China's efforts at developing a socialist economy, working extensively in agriculture. She lived on a dairy farm north of Beijing before her death on June 8, 2010.

Arnold Marquis was a German actor and voice talent. He was one of the best known and most frequently used dubbing voices of Germany, known especially as the voice of "tough guys" like John Wayne, Charles Bronson or Lee Marvin.

Corinne Gallant was a Canadian professor emeritus and feminist. She held the office of Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Arts and director of the philosophy program at the Université de Moncton. As a feminist leader, she co-chaired a working committee that led to the creation of the New Brunswick Advisory Council on the Status of Women and chaired the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women. She was made a member of the Order of Canada in 1988 and received the Order of Moncton in 2012.

Manolo Fábregas (1921–1996) was a Spanish-born Mexican film actor. He was from an established acting family. His grandmother was Virginia Fábregas while his mother was Fanny Schiller, with whom he appeared in the western film The Tiger of Jalisco in 1947.

Paul Falk was a German pair skater. Born in Dortmund, Germany, he skated with Ria Baran and became two-time World champion and 1952 Olympic champion. Baran and Falk married during their active international figure skating.

Jack Steinberger was a German-born American physicist noted for his work with neutrinos, the subatomic particles considered to be elementary constituents of matter. He was a recipient of the 1988 Nobel Prize in Physics, along with Leon M. Lederman and Melvin Schwartz, for the discovery of the muon neutrino. Through his career as an experimental particle physicist, he held positions at the University of California, Berkeley, Columbia University (1950–68), and the CERN (1968–86). He was also a recipient of the United States National Medal of Science in 1988, and the Matteucci Medal from the Italian Academy of Sciences in 1990.

Basuki Rahmat was an Indonesian General and a witness to the signing of the Supersemar document transferring power from President Sukarno to General Suharto.

Patrick "Paddy" Roy Bates was a British pirate radio broadcaster and micronationalist, who founded the unrecognised Principality of Sealand. He was a major in the British Army during World War II.
