John Rawls
John Bordley Rawls was an American moral and political philosopher in the liberal tradition. Rawls received both the Schock Prize for Logic and Philosophy and the National Humanities Medal in 1999, the latter presented by President Bill Clinton, in recognition of how Rawls' work "helped a whole generation of learned Americans revive their faith in democracy itself."

Elisa Frota Pessoa
Elisa Frota Pessoa, born Elisa Esther Habbema de Maia, was a Brazilian experimental physicist. She was one of the first women to graduate in physics in Brazil, in 1942, and a founding member of the Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas. She was distinguished by her studies of radioactivity with nuclear emulsions; reactions and disintegrations of K and π mesons in nuclear emulsions; and reactions of protons and deuterons with nuclei of average masses.
Chen Muhua
Chen Muhua was a Chinese Communist revolutionary and politician who served as Vice Premier, State Councilor, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade, Commissioner of the National Family Planning Commission, Governor of the People's Bank of China, and Chairwoman of the All-China Women's Federation. She was an alternate member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, one of the few women to have entered China's top decision-making body.
Abdul Baqi Jammoh
Abdul Baqi Jammoh, also known as Jammu, was a Jordanian politician. He served in both houses of the Parliament of Jordan, several times as a member of the House of Deputies and as member of the Senate between 1997 and 2001. During his time in the Senate Jammoh was part of the Islamist faction. Jammoh was member of the cabinet twice. He first served as Minister of state for parliamentary affairs between 1989 and 1991. His second position was that of Minister of state for legal and parliamentary affairs between 1994 and 1995. Jammoh was born in Zarqa.

Viktor Georgiyevich Kulikov was the Warsaw Pact commander-in-chief from 1977 to 1989. He was awarded the rank of the Marshal of the Soviet Union on 14 January 1977.
