Kalman Kahana was a long-serving Israeli politician and journalist, and a signatory of the Israeli declaration of independence. He was the brother of Yitzhak Kahan, former President of the Supreme Court of Israel.

Georgette Tissier (1910–1959) was a French actress. She was the wife of the actor Jean Tissier.

Charles Clarence Beck was an American cartoonist and comic book artist, best known for his work on Captain Marvel at Fawcett Comics and DC Comics.

Alice Reinheart was an American actress, best known for her work in old-time radio. An article in the September 1940 issue of Radio and Television Mirror magazine described her as "pert, vivacious, beautiful and talented in writing and music as well as acting."

Bulent Rauf was a Turkish-British mystic, spiritual teacher, translator and author. From 1945 to the early sixties, he was married to Princess Faiza, sister of King Farouk of Egypt.

Edward Kilenyi, Jr. was a classical pianist. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 7, 1910. Kilenyi, Jr. studied in Hungary with the composer/pianist Ernő Dohnányi at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, earning a diploma in 1930. He later became a Professor of Music at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in 1953, four years after Dohnanyi began teaching there. He died on January 6, 2000. A collection of recordings of his concerts is located at the International Piano Archives at the University of Maryland (IPAM).
