Short and bald, with a slight hunch to his shoulders, he was immediately recognizable by his distinct appearance, his nasal voice, and his pronounced New York City accent.
William Bendix
William Bendix was an American film, radio, and television actor, who typically played rough, blue-collar characters. He is best remembered in films for the title role in The Babe Ruth Story. He also portrayed the clumsily earnest aircraft plant worker Chester A. Riley in both the radio and television versions of The Life of Riley. He received an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actor for Wake Island (1942). Bendix was a frequent co-star of Alan Ladd, the two appearing in ten films together; both actors coincidentally died in 1964.

Albert W. Mooney was a self taught American aircraft designer and early aviation entrepreneur. Along with his brother Arthur, he was responsible for the founding of the Mooney Aircraft Company in 1929. His first production design was the Mooney M-18 Mite, which initially flew in 1947. The M-18 developed into the Mooney M20 in 1955, which was produced on-and-off from 1955 and is currently in production as of September, 2020 with over 11,000 units delivered thus far.
