Wenceslao Moreno, known professionally as Señor Wences, was a Spanish ventriloquist and comedian. His popularity grew with his frequent television appearances on CBS's The Ed Sullivan Show during the 1950s and 1960s. Later, he became popular with another generation of fans on The Muppet Show.

He was one of the world's leading theorists of the phenomenon of fascism. Sternhell headed the Department of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and wrote for Haaretz newspaper.

Rednex is a Swedish musical group, originally consisting of the lead singer Mary Joe, alongside Bobby Sue, Ken Tacky, Billy Ray and Mup. The group enjoyed success throughout the 1990s with novelty hits such as "Cotton Eye Joe", "Old Pop in an Oak", "The Spirit of the Hawk" and "Wish You Were Here". Pat Reiniz also served as the band's producer.

Manuel Pradal was a French film director and screenwriter. He wrote the scenarios for all the films he directed. Pradal died on 13 May 2017 in Paris after a long illness, aged 53.

Daniel Kamwa is a filmmaker and actor from Nkongsamba, Cameroon. He studied drama in Paris, France, before producing his first film, Boubou-cravate, in 1973. His 1981 film Our Daughter was entered into the 12th Moscow International Film Festival.
