Roald Edgar Aas was a speed skater and cyclist from Norway. He was born in Oslo. Aas was the number two speed skater in Norway through the entire 1950s—initially after Hjalmar Andersen, later after Knut Johannesen. He became Norwegian champion once, in 1956, but finished second seven times.

Alain Vasseur was a French professional road bicycle racer. Alain Vasseur is the younger brother of cyclist Sylvain Vasseur, and the father of cyclists Cédric Vasseur and Loïc Vasseur. He competed in the individual road race at the 1968 Summer Olympics.

Sir Eustace Henry William Tennyson d'Eyncourt, 1st Baronet was a British naval architect and engineer. As Director of Naval Construction for the Royal Navy, 1912–1924, he was responsible for the design and construction of some of the most famous British warships. He was also chairman of the Landship Committee at the Admiralty, which was responsible for the design and production of the first military tanks to be used in warfare.

General William Wemyss of Wemyss was a Scottish soldier in the British Army and Member of Parliament.
