Aída Yolanda Avella Esquivel, or Aída Yolanda Abella Esquivel, is a Colombian pedagogue, psychologist, and politician belonging to the Patriotic Union party. She was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Colombia and a councilor of the city of Bogotá between 1992 and 1996. Avella was a candidate for Vice President in the 2014 presidential election for the Alternative Democratic Pole and Patriotic Union alliance. In the 2018 parliamentarian election, Avella was elected to the Colombian Senate.

Nakamura Ganjirō II was a Japanese film actor. He appeared in 48 films between 1957 and 1982. He starred in the film The End of Summer, which was entered into the 12th Berlin International Film Festival.

Tsai Chih Chung is a famous cartoonist born in Huatan, Changhua County, Taiwan. He is best known for his graphical works on Chinese philosophy and history, most notably the philosophers Laozi, Liezi, and Zhuangzi, which he made accessible and popularized through the use of plain language and visual aid of cartoon graphics. Many of his earlier four paneled works contain elements of political satire and those which are purely comical such as his well-known work, The Drunken Swordsman (大醉俠).

Hazi Aslanov was an Azerbaijani major-general of the Soviet armoured troops during World War II. Aslanov was one of the youngest ever Soviet generals when he promoted to the rank of major general at the age of 34 years and a month on March 13, 1944. He was awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union title twice. The second Hero title was posthumously awarded on July 12, 1991, by Mikhail Gorbachev, at the constant recommendations by Heydar Aliyev.

Edward Allan Wagner Tizón is a Peruvian diplomat who is the current Minister of Foreign Affairs since February 2021. He previously served twice in the position from 2002 to 2003 and from 1985 to 1988. In addition, he served as Minister of Defense from 2006 to 2007.
