Daisuke Gōri
Daisuke Gōri was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Kōtō, Tokyo. Throughout his life, he was attached to TV Talent Center Tokyo, Yoshizawa Theatre School and then Mausu Promotion; he was attached to Aoni Production at the time of his death. His real name, as well as his former stage name, was Yoshio Nagahori . He was best known for his roles in the Dragon Ball series, the Gundam series, Ninja Scroll, Kinnikuman, Patlabor, Tekken, and Soulcalibur - as well as his distinctive deep, booming voice.

René Ribière
René Ribière (1922–1998) was a French politician. He took part in the last ever duel in France in 1967 and lost when he was lightly injured by Gaston Defferre, after Defferre insulted Ribière at the French parliament. Defferre yelled ‘Taisez-vous, abruti!‘ at Ribière following an argument in the French National Assembly. Ribière demanded an apology, Defferre refused, so Ribière demanded satisfaction by duel with small swords. René Ribière lost the duel, having been wounded twice. He escaped relatively uninjured, however.

Shimizu no Jirochō
Shimizu Jirocho was the most famous yakuza and folk hero of Japan. His real name is Chogoro Yamamoto. He was adopted by his uncle Jirohachi Yamamoto who was a rice wholesaler. Due to the fall of his adoptive family he became a bakuto (gambler) and thereafter the biggest yakuza boss of the Tokaido region. Jirocho was also a philanthropist, business leader, and a patriot. In the late 19th century, Jirocho dominated the port of Shimizu and two main Routes - Tōkaidō and Nakasendō which connect the two ancient capitals, Kyoto and Edo. He had henchmen such as Omasa (大政), Komasa (小政) and Mori no Ishimatsu (森の石松). His life is distinguished as a violent crime boss, but also in his later years humane, political and economic development. There are multiple accounts about his life which makes it difficult to distinguish fact from legend. His legendary status is depicted in many movies and TV dramas.
Alberto Blanco
Alberto Blanco is considered one of Mexico's most important poets. Born in Mexico City on February 18, 1951, he spent his childhood and adolescence in that city, and he studied chemistry at the Universidad Iberoamericana and philosophy at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. For two years, he pursued a master's degree in Asian Studies, specializing in China, at El Colegio de México.1 Blanco was first published in a journal in 1970. He was co-editor and designer of the poetry journal El Zaguan (1975–1977), and a grant recipient of the Centro Mexicano de Escritores, el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes, and the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes. In 1991 he received a grant from the Fulbright Program as a poet-in-residence at the University of California, Irvine; and, in 1992, he was awarded a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation. He was admitted into the Sistema Nacional de Creadores in 1994, for which he has also been a juror. In 2001 he received the Octavio Paz Grant for Poetry, and in 2008, he was awarded a grant from the Guggenheim Foundation. He remains a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores.

Cezar Jesus Ferreira, better known in his home country Brazil as Cezar Mutante, is a mixed martial artist currently competing in the light heavyweight division of the Professional Fighters League. A professional MMA competitor since 2007, he has competed for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and was the inaugural winner of Globo's The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.
