Glen John Provost is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who has served as the bishop of the Diocese of Lake Charles, Louisiana since his episcopal consecration on April 23, 2007.

Randy Wayne Schekman is an American cell biologist at the University of California, Berkeley and former editor-in-chief of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and Annual Review of Cell and Developmental Biology. In 2011, he was announced as the editor of eLife, a new high-profile open-access journal published by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Max Planck Society and the Wellcome Trust launching in 2012. He was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1992. Schekman shared the 2013 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine with James Rothman and Thomas C. Südhof for their ground-breaking work on cell membrane vesicle trafficking.

Roger Sinclair Kirby FRCS(Urol), FEBU is a British retired prostate surgeon and professor of urology, researcher, writer on men's health and prostate disease, founding editor of the journal Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases and Trends in Urology and Men's Health and a fundraiser for prostate disease charities, best known for his use of the da Vinci surgical robot for laparoscopic prostatectomy in the treatment of prostate cancer. He is a co-founder and president of the charity The Urology Foundation (TUF), vice-president of the charity Prostate Cancer UK, trustee of the King Edward VII's Hospital and past chair of the Academic Board of the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM), of which, as of 28 July 2020, he is its president.

Dr. Awartani has become one of the leaders in innovative thinking and education development and education reform in the Middle East. Prof. Awartani was the Acting President of Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, Secretary General of the Universal Education Foundation and is the Chairman of the Arab Foundations Forum. Prof. Awartani is the President of the Palestinian Society for Mathematical Sciences, and Founding President of Alpha International, and the president of Palestine Technical University-Khadoorie in Tulkarem-west Bank. Now he is the Minister for Education and Higher Education.
