Ryosei Kokubun is Japanese academics and author. He is serving as the President, National Defense Academy of Japan since April 2012. Kokubun main interest is on Chinese politics, he had previously served as Dean, Faculty of Law and Politics of the Graduate School of Law in the Keio University from 2007 to 2012, President of Japan Association for Asian Studies from 2008 to 2012 and presently President of Japan Association of International Relations.

Charles William Ergen is an American billionaire businessman. He is co-founder and chairman of Dish Network and EchoStar. He stepped down as CEO of Dish in May 2011 in favor of Joseph Clayton. Ergen resumed as CEO upon Clayton's March 2015 retirement and was CEO until December 2017, when he promoted president and COO Erik Carlson to CEO, but remains as chairman. Reuters reported that the move was effected to remove the day-to-day responsibilities of running DISH and provide more time for Ergen to build out the company’s emerging wireless business. Ergen owns 48 percent of Dish and 46 percent of Echostar shares. He holds 78 percent of Dish's and 72 percent of EchoStar's total voting power.

Peter Schreyer is a German automobile designer widely known for his design contributions to the Audi TT. He has been the chief design officer at Kia Motors since 2006, and on 28 December 2012, he was named one of three presidents of the company.

John Zorn is an American composer, arranger, record producer, saxophonist, and multi-instrumentalist. Zorn incorporates diverse styles and compositional methods in his works, which he identifies as avant-garde or experimental. In 2013, Down Beat described Zorn as "one of our most important composers".

Sir Richard Henry Friend FRS FREng is a British physicist who is Cavendish Professor of Physics at the University of Cambridge and Tan Chin Tuan Centennial Professor at the National University of Singapore. Friend's research concerns the physics and engineering of carbon-based semiconductors. He also serves as Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board of the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Singapore.
