Christian Donald Laettner is an American former basketball player. His career for the Duke Blue Devils is widely regarded as one of the best in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) history. He was the star player on the back-to-back National Championship teams of 1991 and 1992, and the NCAA player of the year in his senior year. He is particularly famous for his game-winning shot against Kentucky in the 1992 tournament and for the hatred he received from opposing fans.

Adnan Januzaj is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Spanish club Real Sociedad and the Belgium national team.

Adam John Thielen is an American football wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Minnesota State and signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2013. Thielen holds several NFL records, including eight straight games over 100+ yards receiving, and 74 receptions in the first half of a season.

Justin Matthew Turner is an American professional baseball third baseman who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles, New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played college baseball for the Cal State Fullerton Titans. He was selected in the seventh round of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft by the Cincinnati Reds, and made his major league debut in 2009. With the Dodgers, Turner was an All-Star in 2017, and won the 2017 National League Championship Series Most Valuable Player Award. He won the 2020 World Series with the Dodgers.

Eiður Smári Guðjohnsen is an Icelandic professional football coach and former player who played as a forward. He is currently the assistant manager of the Iceland men's national team. Gudjohnsen saw his greatest success in England and Spain with Chelsea and Barcelona respectively, where he won the UEFA Champions League and La Liga with the latter and the League Cup and Premiership twice with the former. Along with two spells at Bolton Wanderers fourteen years apart, he also played in Iceland, the Netherlands, France, Greece, Belgium, China and Norway in a club career lasting 22 years.

Joseph Anthony Bosa is an American football defensive end for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Ohio State, and was selected by the Chargers third overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was named AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2016.

Coming out of high school, Maker was considered a five-star recruit by most basketball recruiting services.
