Dr. Louay Omar Mohammed al-Taei is an Iraqi medical doctor accused of murdering wounded policemen, soldiers and officials in Kirkuk while pretending to treat them.

Vasili Ivanovich Komaroff was a Russian serial killer, convicted for the killing of 29 people in Moscow between 1921 and 1923. One of the earliest known serial killers in the Soviet Union, Komaroff was a horse trader who murdered at least 33 customers in the stable next to his home, and was executed on June 18, 1923.

Johannes Mashiane, nicknamed The Beast of Atteridgeville, was a South African rapist and serial killer who was responsible for the deaths of 13 victims before committing suicide in 1989. Mashiane was being chased by police in the Pretoria suburb of Marabastad when he jumped underneath a bus.

Philipp Petrovich Tyurin, known as The Leningrad Maniac and The Hellraiser, was a Soviet serial killer who operated between 1945 and 1946 in Leningrad. According to investigators, during this period Tyurin murdered 14 people, but he himself confessed to 29 total murders.

Thozamile Taki also known as the Sugarcane Killer is a South African serial killer who killed 13 women aged 18–25, dumping their bodies in agricultural plantations. On 19 January 2011, Taki was sentenced to 13 life sentences for the murders and an additional 208 years, 16 years for each of his victims of armed robbery.

Christopher Mhlengwa Zikode is a South African rapist and serial killer who was convicted in 1995 on eight counts of murder, five counts of rape, five counts of attempted murder, and two counts of indecent assault. Zikode is, however, considered responsible for at least 18 murders and 11 attempted murders.

Ali Asghar Borujerdi, also known as اصغر قاتل was the first Iranian serial killer and rapist reported in the 20th century.

Zhao Zhihong, nicknamed The Smiling Killer and Demon, was a Chinese serial killer and rapist. He admitted to committing a total of 20 serious crimes between 1996 and 2005, including raping and killing at least 6 women in Ulanqab and Hohhot in Inner Mongolia. He was executed in 2019, following a court verdict.

Vasile Tcaciuc was a Romanian man who lured victims and then murdered them with an axe that he specially constructed. The primary motive was robbery. On 7 September 1935, a dog found six bodies under his house in Iași. He had already been in prison on robbery and burglary charges. He confessed to having committed at least 26 murders. He was shot dead by a policeman while trying to escape during a reconstruction of one of his crimes.

Edson Isidoro Guimarães is a Brazilian nursing assistant and convicted serial killer. He confessed to five murders of which he was convicted of four, but is suspected of committing up to 131 in total. He claimed that he chose patients whose conditions were irreversible and who were in pain.
