Shu Watanabe is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Numazu, Shizuoka and graduate of Waseda University, he worked at the national newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun from 1987 to 1999. He was elected to the first of his two terms in the assembly of Shizuoka Prefecture in 1991 and then to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1996. He is an assenter of "The Truth about Nanjing(movie)."

Waneek Horn-Miller is a Mohawk of Kahnawake. She was a member of the Canadian women's water polo team that won a gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg. Horn-Miller also became the second Mohawk woman from Canada to ever compete in the Olympic games. She was named an inductee for Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in the athlete category in 2019.

He also played for the Green Bay Packers and was a member of the Seattle Seahawks for ten seasons. He played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2019.
