Mitsuko Ishii is a Japanese politician who has served as a member of the House of Councillors of Japan since 2016. She represents the National proportional representation block and is a member of the Japan Innovation Party.

Alejandro Goić Karmelić is a Chilean bishop of the Catholic Church. He was the bishop of the Diocese of Rancagua from 2004 to 2018. He was President of the Chilean Conference of Bishops from 2004 to 2010. He was formerly an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Concepción and the Bishop of the Diocese of Osorno.

Armas Äikiä (1904–1965) was a Finnish communist writer and journalist. He wrote the Anthem of Karelo-Finnish SSR. A citizen of two countries, who had several collection of poems published in the Soviet Union. Back in Finland, when the Communist Party was banned, he spent years in prison and wrote defiant poems.

Jost de Jager is a German politician. He was the leading candidate of the Christian Democratic Union in the 2012 Schleswig-Holstein state election.
