William A. Mueller was an American sound engineer. He was head of the sound department of Warner Bros. during the 1950s and was nominated for two Academy Awards in the category Sound Recording.

William Henry Bullock was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church who served as Bishop of the Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin from 1993 to 2003. At the time of his death, he was Bishop Emeritus.

William Donald Dennison was a Canadian social-democratic politician that served in both the Ontario Legislative Assembly and finally as the City of Toronto's mayor. He served two nonconsecutive terms as a Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in the 1940s and early 1950s. After his provincial-level career, he focused on Toronto's municipal politics, holding offices as an alderman, member of the Toronto Board of Control, and finally as the city's mayor. He was the mayor from 1967 to 1972, winning two consecutive three-year terms. Prior to entering politics, he was a school principal and teacher. As of 2020 he was the last mayor of Toronto to be a member of the Orange Order.

Sir William Snow Harris was a British physician and electrical researcher, nicknamed Thunder-and-Lightning Harris, and noted for his invention of a successful system of lightning conductors for ships. It took many years of campaigning, research and successful testing before the British Royal Navy changed to Harris's conductors from their previous less effective system. One of the successful test vessels was HMS Beagle which survived lightning strikes unharmed on her famous voyage with Charles Darwin.

William Lee Scott is an American actor. He is best known for his role as high school student Stanley "Bullethead" Kuznocki on the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show. Additionally, he appeared in the films Gone in 60 Seconds, Pearl Harbor, October Sky and The Butterfly Effect.

William VII "the Young" of Auvergne was a Count of the region of Auvergne, France during the years 1145–1168. He accompanied the French king, Louis VII, on the Second Crusade.
