Wan Azizah Wan Ismail
Dato' Seri Datin Sri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Wan Ismail is a Malaysian politician who served as the 12th Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Women, Family and Community Development in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. She created a record by becoming the first female Deputy Prime Minister and the highest ever political officeholder in the history of Malaysia. She has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pandan since May 2018 as well as Permatang Pauh, on behalf of her husband Anwar Ibrahim, from November 1999 to March 2008 and again from May 2015 to May 2018. She also served as 1st President of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the PH opposition coalition, too, on behalf of Anwar, the de facto party leader who often involved in legal cases which disrupted him to officially take over the party leadership and sent him into the jail twice. She served in the position from the party formation in April 1999 to officially handing over the party leadership to Anwar who had been jailed twice in November 2018 for almost two decades or, 19 years. In addition, she served as the 11th and 13th Leader of the Opposition, on behalf of Anwar again from March 2008 to August 2008 and again from May 2015 to the victory of PH against BN in the 2018 general election in May 2018 and Member of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kajang from April 2014 to May 2018.

Wan Kuok-koi, popularly known as Broken Tooth Koi, is a gangster and former leader of the Macau branch of the 14K triad. He was released after more than 14 years in prison on 1 December 2012, and in years following has reportedly been involved in illicit gambling projects in Myanmar associated with illicit drug production and transnational organized crime groups operating in and around the Golden Triangle. In December 2020, the U.S. sanctioned Wan under the Global Magnitsky Act.

Wan Qingliang is a former Chinese politician from Guangdong province. He served as the Mayor of Guangzhou, one of China's most populous cities, from 2010 to 2011, and was then promoted to Communist Party Secretary, the top official of the city. In June 2014, the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency announced that Wan was held for investigation. Wan was expelled from Communist Party of China on October 9, 2014. He was convicted on criminal charges related to taking over 100 million yuan in bribes, and sentenced to life in prison.
