According to Everton Machado, his book O Último Olhar de Manú Miranda is a good introduction to know Indo-Portuguese literature. He was the father of current Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa.

Orlando McDaniel
Orlando Keith McDaniel was an American football wide receiver. He played college football for the LSU Tigers (1978–1981) and professional football for the Denver Broncos (1982). He appeared in 44 games at LSU, totaling 64 receptions for 1,184 yards and three touchdowns. Drafted by the Broncos in the second round of the 1982 NFL Draft, he appeared in only three NFL games and did not catch a pass. McDaniel died in March 2020, a victim at age 59 of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Orlando Bosch Ávila was a Cuban exile militant, who headed the Coordination of United Revolutionary Organizations (CORU), described by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation as a terrorist organization. Born in Cuba, Bosch attended medical school at the University of Havana, where he befriended Fidel Castro. He worked as a doctor in Santa Clara Province in the 1950s, but moved to Miami in 1960 after he stopped supporting the Cuban Revolution.

Orlando Martínez
Orlando Martínez was a Cuban bantamweight boxer, who won the gold medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Three years later he captured the gold at the 1975 Pan American Games. Orlando was awarded a hotly disputed 3–2 split decision over Great Britain's George Turpin in the 1972 Munich Olympics semifinal before coasting to a comfortable points win over future professional world bantamweight champion Alfonso Zamora in the final to win the division's gold medal.
