Lucien Lelong was a French couturier who was prominent from the 1920s to the 1940s.

Lucien Petipa was a French ballet dancer in the early 19th century, who was the brother of Marius Petipa, the famous ballet master of the Russian Imperial Ballet. He was born in Marseilles and died in Versailles.

Lucien Didier is a former Luxembourgian cyclist. He competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics. He rode in ten Grand Tours between 1978 and 1984, including six Tours de France. In each of his Tour starts he completed the race and helped his team leader to overall victory - Bernard Hinault four times and Laurent Fignon twice. He was the son-in law of racing cyclist Bim Diederich and is the father of racing cyclist Laurent Didier.

Lucien Tesnière was a prominent and influential French linguist. He was born in Mont-Saint-Aignan on May 13, 1893. As a maître de conférences in Strasbourg (1924), and later professor in Montpellier (1937), he published many papers and books on Slavic languages. However, his importance in the history of linguistics is based mainly on his development of an approach to the syntax of natural languages that would become known as dependency grammar. He presented his theory in his book Éléments de syntaxe structurale, published posthumously in 1959. In the book he proposes a sophisticated formalization of syntactic structures, supported by many examples from a diversity of languages. Tesnière died in Montpellier on December 6, 1954.

Lucien Fenaux (1911-1969) was a French sculptor. He won the Prix de Rome in sculpture in 1943. He lived at the Villa Medici in 1946-1947. He designed sculptures in the church in Aunay-sur-Odon.
