Joseph Watson, 1st Baron Manton was an English industrialist from Leeds, Yorkshire.

Joseph Wragg was an American slave trader and politician from Charles Town in the colony of Carolina. He was one of the pioneers of the large-scale transatlantic slave trade in the Thirteen Colonies, being the predominant slave trader there in the 1730s. Wraggborough in central Charleston was named for him; two parks and seven streets in Wraggborough are also named for him and his children.

Joseph Fielding Smith Sr. was an American religious leader who served as the sixth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was the nephew of Joseph Smith, the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, and was the last president of the LDS Church to have known him personally.
