Isidore Dagnan, a French landscape painter, was born at Marseille in 1794, and died in Paris in 1873. His pictures consist chiefly of views in Southern France, Italy, and Switzerland. His works include the following:

Isidore Mankofsky is an American cinematographer. He shot more than 200 educational movies for Encyclopædia Britannica.

Isidore of Kiev, also known as Isidore of Thessalonica, was a Byzantine Greek Metropolitan of Kyiv, cardinal bishop, humanist, and theologian. He was one of the chief Eastern defenders of reunion at the time of the Council of Florence.

Isidore of Alexandria was an Egyptian or Greek philosopher and one of the last of the Neoplatonists. He lived in Athens and Alexandria toward the end of the 5th century AD. He became head of the school in Athens in succession to Marinus, who followed Proclus.

Isidore Singer was an editor of The Jewish Encyclopedia and founder of the American League for the Rights of Man.
