Helmut Winschermann
Helmut Winschermann was a German classical oboist, conductor and academic teacher. He founded the Deutsche Bachsolisten ensemble for historically informed performances, and was their conductor from 1960 until his death. They made many recordings and toured internationally, especially to Japan.
Helmut Kremers
Helmut Kremers is a former German football player. His twin brother, Erwin Kremers, also played as a German international with the two brothers playing with each other regularly. Helmut and Erwin Kremers are the first ever twins to play in the Bundesliga.
Helmut Lent
Helmut Lent was a German night-fighter ace in World War II. Lent shot down 110 aircraft, 102 of them at night. Born into a devoutly religious family, he showed an early passion for glider flying; against his father's wishes, he joined the Luftwaffe in 1936. After completing his training, he was assigned to the 1. Squadron, or Staffel, of Zerstörergeschwader 76 (ZG 76), a wing flying the Messerschmitt Bf 110 twin-engine heavy fighter. Lent claimed his first aerial victories at the outset of World War II in the invasion of Poland and over the North Sea. During the invasion of Norway he flew ground support missions before he was transferred to the newly established Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 (NJG 1), a night-fighter wing.
Helmut Holter
Helmut Holter is a German politician of the party The Left. From 1998 to 2006 he was Minister for Labor and Construction of the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. From April 2009 to September 2016 he was chairman of The Left parliamentary group in the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Since August 2017 he has been Minister for Education, Youth and Sport in the state of Thuringia.

Helmut Winklhofer is a German former professional footballer who played as a defender or midfielder for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and FC Bayern Munich. He won four German titles and played in the 1987 European Cup Final before his career was cut short by injury in 1990.

Helmut Bellingrodt
Helmut Bellingrodt is a Colombian Olympic sports shooter who won two Olympic silver medals. He participated in the 1972 Munich, 1976 Montreal, and 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games. He was the first Colombian athlete to win two Olympic medals, as well as the Colombian athlete with the most until Jackeline Rentería Castillo tied with a second bronze in wrestling - 55kg at the London 2012 Summer Olympics.

Helmut Kämpfe
Helmut Kämpfe was a highly decorated Waffen SS Sturmbannführer who was murdered by the French Resistance just before the Oradour massacre in occupied France on 10 June 1944. In total 642 men, women and children were killed in Oradour-sur-Glane by troops from the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich. The SS commander who ordered the massacre said the death of Kämpfe was the reason for the killings.
