Hamid Karzai
Hamid Karzai is an Afghan politician who was the president of Afghanistan from 22 December 2001 to 29 September 2014. He is also the leader of the Popalzai Durrani tribe of Pashtuns.
Hamid Gul
Hamid Gul HI(M), SBt, was a three-star rank army general in the Pakistan Army and defence analyst. Gul was notable for serving as the Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Pakistan's premier intelligence agency, between 1987 and 1989. During his tenure, Gul played an instrumental role in directing ISI support to Afghan resistance groups against Soviet forces during the Soviet–Afghan War, in co-operation with the CIA.

Hamid Chabat
Hamid Chabat is a Moroccan politician and the previous Secretary-General of the Istiqlal Party. Hamid Chabat has been the mayor of Fes since October 2003 and was elected on 23 September 2003 to lead his party, defeating rival Abdelouahed El Fassi, a relative of former incumbent Abbas El Fassi and grandson of Allal El Fassi. Before holding office, Chabat forged a name for himself in his party's trade union.

Hamid El Mahdaoui
Hamid El Mahdaoui is a Moroccan journalist, and activist. Since 2014, he is the founder and the editor-in-chief of the online news website Badil.info. On July 20, El Mahdaoui was arrested in Al Hoceima, and later sentenced to three years in prison and a fine of 20.000 Dirhams for his activism in Hirak Rif.

Hamid Algabid is a Nigerien politician and the President of the Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP-Jama'a) party. A lawyer, banker, and technocrat, Algabid was an important figure in the regime of Seyni Kountché, serving as Prime Minister of Niger from 1983 to 1988. He was Secretary-General of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) from 1989 to 1996, and since 1997 he has been President of the RDP-Jama'a. He was also President of the High Council of Territorial Collectivities (HCCT) until 2010.

Hamid Sourian
Hamid Sourian Reihanpour is an Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a six-time World Champion Sourian won both the Junior World Championships and Senior World Championships in 2005. He is also 2007 and 2008 Asian gold medalist. Sourian won the gold medal in the 55 kg Greco-Roman competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics. For his intelligent style he is nicknamed "The Genius" (نابغه).
