Francis Stuart, 7th Earl of Moray was the son of Alexander Stuart, 5th Earl of Moray and his wife, Emilia Balfour. He married Jean Elphinstone, daughter of John Elphinstone, 4th Lord Balmerinoch and Christiana Montgomerie. He succeeded to his brother Charles's titles when he died unmarried in 1735.

Francis Alexander MacKinnon, The 35th MacKinnon of MacKinnon DL was the longest-lived Test cricketer until being surpassed by Eric Tindill of New Zealand on 8 November 2009. MacKinnon, who was 98 years, 324 days old when he died, was the oldest-ever first-class cricketer at that time.

Francis Leyborne Popham was an English barrister and cricketer. He was associated with Oxford University Cricket Club and made his first-class debut in 1829.

Francis Grover Cleveland was an American stage actor, director and producer. He was the co-founder of the Barnstormers Theatre, a theatre company in Tamworth, New Hampshire. His parents were President Grover Cleveland and First Lady Frances Folsom.

Francis Hastings, Lord Hastings was the son of George Hastings, 4th Earl of Huntingdon and Dorothy Port. He married Sarah Harington, daughter of Sir James Harington and Lucy Sydney. They had five children:
