David G. Korn is an American UNIX programmer and the author of the Korn shell (ksh), a command line interface/programming language.

David Wagner is an American wheelchair tennis player. Paralyzed from the mid-chest down and with thirty percent function in his hands, he competes in the Quad division. He plays by taping the tennis racket to his hand. He is currently ranked number three in the world in singles and number two in doubles.

David Russell Edgerton Jr. was an American entrepreneur and co-founder of the Burger King Corporation, in what would become the second largest burger chain after McDonald's. After serving as a manager of another restaurant, Howard Johnson's, on March 1, 1954 he opened a franchise outlet of the restaurant chain Insta Burger King in Miami, Florida. On June 1 of the same year, he met fellow restaurateur James McLamore and the two founded the Burger King Corporation. After leaving Burger King, he went on to start Bodega, a steakhouse restaurant.

David M. Lee, Jr. is an American jazz drummer and composer.

David Carson is an American graphic designer, art director and surfer. He is best known for his innovative magazine design, and use of experimental typography. He was the art director for the magazine Ray Gun, in which he employed much of the typographic and layout approach for which he is known. In particular, his widely imitated aesthetic defined the so-called "grunge typography" era.

David D'Or is an Israeli singer, composer, and songwriter. A countertenor with a vocal range of more than four octaves, he is a three-time winner of the Israeli "Singer of the Year" and "Best Vocal Performer" awards. He was also chosen to represent Israel in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest, at which he placed 11th in the semi-final. By February 2008, nine of his albums had gone platinum.

David Thirdkill is an American retired basketball player. He played in the NBA, and was the 1993 Israeli Basketball Premier League MVP.
