Barbara Prammer
Barbara Prammer was an Austrian politician and member of the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ). In 2006 she was the first woman to become President of the National Council of Austria, an office she held until her death.
Barbara Harris
Barbara Clementine Harris was an American bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States. She was the first woman consecrated a bishop in the Anglican Communion. She was elected suffragan bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, on September 24, 1988, and was consecrated on February 11, 1989. Eight thousand people attended the service, which was held at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She served in the role of suffragan bishop for 13 years, retiring in 2003.
Barbara Coudenhove-Kalergi
Barbara Coudenhove-Kalergi is an Austrian journalist. A member of the Coudenhove-Kalergi family, she is the daughter of Gerolf von Coudenhove-Kalergi and thus the niece of Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi. As ethnic German she was expelled from her hometown Prague during the ethnic cleansing of 1945/1946 that murdered or drove from their homes the more than 30% ethnic Germans, citizens of pre-war Czechoslovakia, from the territories of the country. She was awarded the Order of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, Class IV, in 2001.
Barbara W. Snelling
Barbara Tuttle Snelling was elected the 78th Lieutenant Governor of Vermont in 1992 and served two terms (1993–1997), suffering a cerebral hemorrhage in 1996 while campaigning for governor. She was elected to the Vermont State Senate in 1998, where she served until she suffered a second stroke; she resigned in 2002.
Barbara of Brandenburg
Barbara of Brandenburg was a Marchioness consort of Mantua, married in 1433 to Ludovico III Gonzaga, Marquis of Mantua. She was referred to as a virago because of her strong character and forceful nature, and served as Regent of Mantua several times during the absence of Ludivico III between 1445 and 1455. She is regarded as an important figure in the Italian Renaissance and was a student of Vittorino da Feltre.

Barbara Rosenkranz is an Austrian politician for the Free List Austria. She was a member of the Parliament of Austria, the National Council, from 2002 to 2008, where she served as Chair of the Committee for Health Affairs. Rosenkranz was the Freedom Party candidate for the Austrian presidential election in 2010. Rosenkranz received 15.62% of the vote, coming second after incumbent Heinz Fischer. Until 2017, she was a member of the Freedom Party of Austria.
