Ali Belhadj
Ali Belhadj is an Algerian Islamist activist and preacher and cofounder of the Islamic Salvation Front (FIS) political party, the winner of the June 1990 local elections and the 1991 Algerian legislative election.
Ali Suavi
Ali Suavi was an Ottoman political activist, journalist, educator, theologian and reformer. He taught at an elementary school in Bursa, preached at the Sehzade Mosque in Constantinople, wrote for Filip (Philip) Efendi’s newspaper Muhbir, and worked in different positions at offices in Simav, Plovdiv, and Sofia. He was a member of the Young Ottomans and editor of its official journal. He was exiled to Kastamonu because of his writings against Ottoman Sultan Abdülaziz. He was furthermore known for his racist views, as he regarded the Turkish race to be superior.
Ali Isayev
Ali Isaevich Isaev is a Dagestani-Azerbaijani professional mixed martial artist and former amateur wrestler. He currently competes in the Heavyweight division of Bellator MMA. He has also formely compe ted for Fight Nights Global and Professional Fighters League (PFL), where he was the 2019 Heavyweight Tournament Champion. He competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in men's freestyle wrestling at 125 kilos where Isaev placed 17th.
Ali Khodja
Ali V Ben Ahmed, nicknamed Ali Khodja, Ali-Meguer, or Ali Loco a Kouloughli of partial Georgian (Mengrelian) origin. He was the dey of the Deylik of Algiers from September 1817, just after the assassination of his predecessor Omar Agha the 8th. He remained so until his death in February 1818. His sobriquet Ali-Meguer may indicate his Mingrelian background.

Ali Salim al-Beidh
Ali Salem al Beidh is a Yemeni politician who served as the General Secretary of the Yemeni Socialist Party (YSP) in South Yemen and as Vice President of Yemen following the unification in 1990. He left the unification government in 1993, sparking the 1994 civil war in Yemen and then went into exile in Oman. He is a leader of the Southern independence movement known as Al Hirak.

Ali Adnan Kadhim Al-Tameemi, known simply as Ali Adnan, is an Iraqi professional footballer who plays as a wing back for Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the Iraqi national team. Adnan has played at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where he was one of Iraq's star players as the underdogs went on a run to the semi-final. Adnan won the 2013 Asian Young Footballer of the Year.
