Adolf von Becker
Adolf von Becker was a Finnish genre painter and art professor of German descent. He was one of the first Finnish artists to study in Paris, who taught many of the young artists of the Golden Age of Finnish Art.
Adolf II of Lotharingia
Adolf II of Lotharingia (1002–1041) was count in Keldachgau and Vogt of Deutz, and was the son of Adolf I of Lotharingia, count in Keldachgau, Vogt of Deutz. He left two sons:
- Adolf I of Berg, count of Berg from 1077 until 1082, Vogt of Werden, Deutz, Berg and Gerresheim;
- Hermann IV (de)(b. before 1041, died 1091), count of Saffenberg and Nörvenich, Vogt of Cornelimünster und St. Martin in Cologne.

Adolf Valentin "Adi" Lindfors was a heavyweight Greco-Roman wrestler from Finland. He competed at the 1912, where we became injured and had to withdraw, and 1920 Olympics, where he won a gold medal, aged 41.

Abraham Adolf Jandorf was a Jewish German businessman, who owned and operated the department store chain A. Jandorf & Co. Through his use of the most modern sales techniques, he rose from humble beginnings to become one of Germany's major merchants. With the Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe) in Berlin in 1907, he founded what is today Germany's best-known department store.

Adolf Ziegler was a German painter and politician. He was tasked by the Nazi Party to oversee the purging of what the Party described as "degenerate art", by most of the German modern artists. He was Hitler's favourite painter.
