Egil Kapstad was a Norwegian jazz pianist, composer and arranger. He wrote the music for more than 50 productions for theater, and also composed for film and television drama. Kapstad composed classical works for orchestra, choir, string quartet, and smaller ensembles, and was a chief executive of the association Ny Musikk. He worked as a host in television for NRK. Egil Kapstad's Trio worked as a small orchestra in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix of 1965.

Otto Planetta was an Austrian National Socialist. On 25 July 1934 he murdered Engelbert Dollfuss, Austrian Chancellor during the unsuccessful July Putsch, four years before the Anschluss. He and the other assassins were members of SS Regiment 89. He was sentenced to death and executed by hanging. He was cremated at Feuerhalle Simmering. His ashes are buried at Dornbacher Friedhof in Vienna.

Andrés Hernández Ros was a Spanish politician and member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) from the Region of Murcia. Hernández served as the first President of the Region of Murcia from July 1982 until March 9, 1984, following the establishment of autonomy in 1982. Prior to autonomy, he held the office of President of Regional Council, the head of the pre-autonomous government of Murcia, from May 5, 1979, until July 1982.

Linda Katherine Albert de Escobar, was an American botanist, plant collector, and educator noted for her study of Passiflora as well as her work as a teacher and administrator at the University of Antioquia. She was director of the university's herbarium from 1981–1988, and served as President of the Herbariums Colombian Association. The species Passiflora linda was named in her honor. The standard author abbreviation L.K.Escobar is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name. She identified over forty species, mostly in Passiflora.
