Karl Derrick "Tuffy" Rhodes is a retired American professional baseball player. He played six years in Major League Baseball in the US, and thirteen years in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) in Japan. Rhodes is the all-time NPB home run leader among foreign-born players, and he is tied for 11th overall with 464 home runs in Japan. He hit 55 home runs in 2001, equaling the NPB single-season mark set by Sadaharu Oh in 1964.

James Northey Miller Jr. is a senior fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. He was the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy from February 18, 2012 until January 8, 2014. As such, he provided advice to then Defense Secretaries Panetta and Hagel. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa. In 2000, he was awarded the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service.

Sir George Oswald Browning "Gubby" Allen CBE was a cricketer who captained England in eleven Test matches. In first-class matches, he played for Middlesex and Cambridge University. A fast bowler and hard-hitting lower-order batsman, Allen later became an influential cricket administrator who held key positions in the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), which effectively ruled English cricket at the time; he also served as chairman of the England selectors.
