Frederick Lau is a German actor. He grew up and still lives in Berlin-Steglitz. He was awarded the Deutscher Filmpreis for portraying the student Tim in the film Die Welle based on the novel by Todd Strasser. Since 2000 he has played over 50 roles in film and television.

Eddie Lau Pui-Kei is a fashion designer in Hong Kong. Lau has worked in the fashion industry since 1962 until his retirement in 1999, but he has never left his profession up to now. He was at the peak of his career in the 1980s, when he designed haute couture and stage costumes for the celebrities, such as Eunice Lam(林燕妮), Bak Sheut-sin, Liza Wang, Michelle Yeoh (楊紫瓊), Anita Mui (梅艷芳). Lau was also employed to design uniforms for international brands – Cathay Pacific, Cathay Dragon (2013) and gained much recognition. He is the first fashion designer whose works have become a focus of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum's collection In 2013, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum held an exhibition of Lau, named '他Fashion傳奇Eddie Lau‧她Image百變‧劉培基' and his autobiography Clair de Lune (《舉頭望明月．劉培基自傳》) was released in the same year.

Henry Lau, commonly referred to mononymously as Henry, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, actor, entertainer and classical violinist based in South Korea and China. Grace Lau Mo-sheung is a Hong Kong karateka. She won bronze in the women’s kata event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, becoming the first Hong Kong athlete who won an Olympic medal in karate. She is also a bronze medallist in the women's individual kata event at the World Karate Championships, the Asian Games and the World Beach Games. She is also a three-time medalist at the Asian Karate Championships.
