Denise Marie Nickerson was an American actress. She started her career as a child actress playing bratty bubblegum-chewing Violet Beauregarde in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory; Allison on The Electric Company; and Amy Jennings, Nora Collins, and Amy Collins in the soap opera Dark Shadows.

Gian Franco Corsi Zeffirelli, commonly known as Franco Zeffirelli, was an Italian director and producer of operas, films and television. He was also a senator from 1994 until 2001 for the Italian centre-right Forza Italia party.

Charles Wade Wilson was an American football coach and previously a quarterback who played for the Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Dallas Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders in a seventeen-year career from 1981 to 1998 in the National Football League (NFL). He was quarterbacks coach for the Dallas Cowboys from 2000 to 2002 and from 2007 to 2017 and the Chicago Bears from 2004 to 2006. He played college football for East Texas State University, where he was an NAIA All-American Quarterback and led the Lions to the NAIA national semifinals during the 1980 season.

During her career she was particularly known for her mastery of the champion Thresh, which earned her the nicknames "Madwife" and "Thresh Queen".
