Chesús Gregorio Bernal Bernal was a Spanish academic and politician. He was a professor at the University of Zaragoza, specialising in Romance languages. In 1986, he co-founded the Chunta Aragonesista (CHA), and served in the Cortes of Aragon from 1995 to 2011.

Brian Leo Muller was a New Zealand rugby union player. A prop, Muller represented Taranaki at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1967 to 1971. He played 35 matches for the All Blacks including 14 internationals. He died on 12 December 2019 at the age of 77.

Arto Tchakmakchian was a Canadian-Armenian sculptor and painter, a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. He was awarded by the Armenian Order of Honor in 2015.

Ralph Moody Hall was an American politician who served as the United States Representative for Texas's 4th congressional district from 1981 to 2015. He was first elected in 1980, and was the chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology from 2011 to 2013. He was also a member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. In 2004, he switched to the Republican Party after having been a member of the Democratic Party for more than 50 years.

Alejandro Enrique Planchart was a Venezuelan-American musicologist, conductor, and composer. He was considered to be one of the leading scholars on the music of Guillaume Du Fay; more broadly, he was a specialist on music of the Middle Ages and early Renaissance music.

José Antonio Gurriarán was a Spanish journalist and assistant director of the Pueblo newspaper. He was the founder of the second chain of Canal Sur.

Mário Jorge da Fonseca Hermes, also commonly known as Mário Jorge, was a Brazilian basketball player who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics. He died in June 2019 at the age of 92.
