Margaret Mary Heckler was an American Republican Party politician who represented Massachusetts in the United States House of Representatives from 1967 to 1983 and served as Secretary of Health and Human Services and Ambassador to Ireland under President Ronald Reagan.

Oscar Alberto Furlong was an Argentine basketball player, and tennis player and coach. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a basketball player, he was a FIBA World Cup champion in 1950, who also competed at the 1948 Summer Olympic Games, and at the 1952 Summer Olympic Games. Furlong was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in September 2007.

Piotr Szulkin was a Polish film director and writer. He directed over thirty films, both Polish and international productions. He was a recipient of "Best Science Fiction Film Director" at Eurocon in 1984. During the latter part of his career, he was also a professor at the National Film School in Łódź.

Carlos Sanchez Ezquerra was a Spanish comics artist who worked mainly in British comics. He is best known as the co-creator of Judge Dredd.

Jyrgalbek Kalmamatov was a Kyrgyz politician and member of the Kyrgyzstan Party. He was born on December 22, 1972 in the village of Gulcho Osh Oblast. In 1993, he graduated from the Kyrgyz financial and economic school. He was elected to the Supreme Council in 2015, he died in office on 2 January 2018 of a heart attack at the age of 45. Kalmamatov had a wife and nine children.

Henri Dirickx was a Belgian international footballer, who played as a defender. Dirickx was the last surviving member of Belgium's 1954 World Cup squad.
