Ricardo Tito Jamin Vidal was a Filipino prelate of the Catholic Church. A cardinal since 1985, he was Archbishop of Cebu from 1982 to 2010.

Maurice Mességué was a French herbalist and author of several books on herbal medicine and cooking with herbs. In his autobiography, he claims to have treated Winston Churchill, Chancellor Adenauer of Germany, and the future Pope John XXIII.

William Jack Baumol was an American economist. He was a professor of economics at New York University, Academic Director of the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Professor Emeritus at Princeton University. He was a prolific author of more than eighty books and several hundred journal articles.

Josef "Beppo" Mauhart was an Austrian business executive. During his career, he worked as a newspaper executive and chief executive officer of Austria Tabak. He was also the longest serving president of the Austrian Football Association.

Daryl Dean Spencer was an American professional baseball player and infielder who played shortstop, second base and third base in Major League Baseball between 1952 and 1963 for the New York and San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds. On April 15, 1958, he hit the first home run in San Francisco Giants' history in an 8–0 victory over the Dodgers. He threw and batted right-handed and was listed as 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m) tall and 185 pounds (84 kg).

Joseph Emmanuel "Manno" Charlemagne was a Haitian political folk singer, songwriter and acoustic guitarist, political activist and politician. He recorded his political chansons in both French and in Creole. He lived abroad in exile twice, both during the 1980s and again during the years 1991–1994, when the country was ruled by a military junta led by Raoul Cédras.

Augustin Bubník was a Czech ice hockey player for the Czechoslovak national team. He won a silver medal at the 1948 Winter Olympics. He also played in the 1947 and 1949 World Championships, of which Czechoslovakia won both. He later worked as an ice hockey coach and was elected as an MP to the lower chamber of the Czech Parliament from the Civic Democratic Party. He also worked as the ice hockey coach of the Finnish National Team from 1966 to 1969, and was later inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame.

Yvonne Monlaur was a French film actress of the late 1950s and 1960s best known for her roles in the Hammer horror films.
