John "Johnny" Keating was a Scottish musician, songwriter and arranger.

John Carter was an American actor known for the films Badlands (1973), Scarface (1983), and The Hoax (2006). He may be best remembered for his recurring role as Police Lieutenant John Biddle on the television series Barnaby Jones (1973-1980). He also directed two "Barnaby Jones" episodes.

Aleksei Aleksandrovich Gubarev was a Soviet cosmonaut who flew on two space flights: Soyuz 17 and Soyuz 28.

Jouko Sihveri Törmänen was a Finnish ski jumper.

Liu Han was a Chinese billionaire businessman, the former chairman of the conglomerate Hanlong Group, with interests in power generation and mining. His assets were officially valued at 40 billion yuan. He was convicted of murder, running a mafia-style gang, and many other charges, and executed in February 2015.

Jeremy George Weston "Jem" Marsh was a British engineer, motor manufacturer and race driver, born in Clifton, Bristol, England. He entered the motor industry through his company Speedex Castings and Accessories Ltd., based in Luton, that manufactured and sold tuning parts for Austin Sevens, based on Marsh's successful Speedex750 racing special. Marsh is perhaps best known as a co-founder of the sports-car manufacturer Marcos, the name being derived from a contraction of his and fellow founder Frank Costin's surnames. Founded in 1959, the company was continued by Jem's son Chris Marsh, until it was taken over by Canadian Tony Stellinga, and continued to produce automobiles until 2008 when it ceased production.

Sarah Kyolaba Tatu Namutebi Amin, also known by her stage name "Suicide Sarah", was a Ugandan dancer who was dictator Idi Amin's fifth and last-surviving wife. She met Amin when she was a 19-year-old go-go dancer and they married in 1975. The couple had three children but Kyolaba left Amin after he went into exile in 1979. She moved to England where she ran a restaurant and later a hair salon. She died from cancer in 2015.

Sally Forrest, was an American film, stage and TV actress of the 1940s and 1950s. She studied dance from a young age and shortly out of high school was signed to a contract by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
