Alphonse John Gangitano was an Australian criminal from Melbourne, Victoria. Nicknamed the "Black Prince of Lygon Street", Gangitano was the face of an underground organisation known as the Carlton Crew. He was also an associate of alleged organised crime bosses Tom Domican (Sydney) and John Kizon (Perth).

Mazhar Khan was an Indian film and television actor, producer and director. Khan made his debut with the film Sampark (1979), playing the role of Brindavan, but was better acclaimed for his role as Abdul in Shaan (1980), as a street beggar. He made his debut as a producer with the film Bombay Fantasy (1983), and made his directorial debut with the film Gang (2000), released after Khan's death in 1998.

Wendy Orlean Williams was an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Born in Webster, New York, she came to prominence as the lead singer of the punk rock band Plasmatics. She was noted for her onstage theatrics which included partial nudity, exploding equipment, firing a shotgun, and chainsawing guitars. Dubbed the "Queen of Shock Rock" and the "Metal Priestess", Williams was considered the most controversial and radical female singer of her time. Performing her own stunts in videos, she often sported a mohawk hairstyle. In 1985, during the height of her popularity as a solo artist, she was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

Yeduguri Sandinti Raja Reddy was an Indian politician and father of Indian National Congress strongman and two-time Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Belonging to the Y S family from Pulivendula in Cuddapah district, Raja Reddy was killed in a bomb attack in 1998.

Rolle is best known for her role as Florida Evans, on the CBS television sitcom Maude, for two seasons (1972–1974), and its spin-off series Good Times, for five seasons, for which Rolle was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Musical or Comedy in 1976. In 1979, Rolle accepted the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Special for the television film Summer of My German Soldier.
