Mary Elizabeth Hartman was an American actress of the stage and screen. She is best known for her debut performance in the 1965 film A Patch of Blue, playing a blind girl named Selina D'Arcy, opposite Sidney Poitier, a role for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama. The next year, she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's You're a Big Boy Now as Barbara Darling, for which she was nominated for a second Golden Globe Award. Hartman also starred opposite Clint Eastwood and Geraldine Page in Don Siegel's The Beguiled, and the 1973 box office smash and cult favorite Walking Tall. On stage, Hartman was best known for her interpretations of Laura Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, for which she won Ohio's "Actress of the Year" award, and Emily Webb in the 1969 Broadway production of Our Town.

Arthur Christopher John Soames, Baron Soames, was a British Conservative politician who served as a European Commissioner and the last Governor of Southern Rhodesia. He was previously Member of Parliament (MP) for Bedford from 1950 to 1966. He held several government posts and attained Cabinet rank.

Hiroshi Kawaguchi was a Japanese film actor. He appeared in 37 films between 1956 and 1983. He was born in Tokyo, Japan. Kawaguchi's father, writer Matsutarō Kawaguchi, was an executive at Daiei Film, where Kawaguchi acted. In 1960 he married Daiei actress Hitomi Nozoe.

Ruben Edera Ecleo Sr. was a Filipino cult leader who founded the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association, Incorporated in 1965, and the mayor of the Municipality of Dinagat, Surigao del Norte from 1963 up to 1987. Married to Glenda Buray Ecleo, they had eight children: Ruben Jr., Glorigen, Gracelyn, Benglen, Allan I, Allan II, Geraldine and Gwendolyn. Ecleo also has a son with former mistress Reyneria Borja named Ruben Al.
