Thomas Frederick Cheeseman was a New Zealand botanist. He was also a naturalist who had wide-ranging interests, such that he even described a few species of sea slugs.

Vatslav Vatslavovich Vorovsky was a Russian Bolshevik, Marxist revolutionary, literary critic, publicist and Soviet diplomat. One of the first Soviet diplomats, Vorovsky is best remembered as the victim of a May 1923 political assassination in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he was the official representative of the Soviet government to the Conference of Lausanne.

Sir Mansfield George Smith-Cumming was a British naval officer and the first director of the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS).

Henrik Immanuel Wigström a Finnish silver & goldsmith, was one of the most important Fabergé workmasters along with Michael Perchin. Perchin was the head workmaster from 1886 until his death in 1903, when he was succeeded by his chief assistant Henrik Wigström. These two workmasters were responsible for almost all the imperial Easter eggs.

Eugène Mougin was a French competitor in the sport of archery. Mougin competed in one event, winning the 50 metre Au Chapelet competition. He is now considered by the International Olympic Committee to have won a gold medal. No scores are known from that competition.

Kjeld Thor Tage Otto, Friherre Reedtz-Thott, was a Danish politician, landowner and member of the Højre political party. He was Council President of Denmark from 1894 to 1897 as the leader of the Reedtz-Thott Cabinet.

Karl Fredrik Nordström was a Swedish painter who specialized in landscapes. From 1896 to 1920, he was Chairman of the Association of Artists (Konstnärsförbundet).

Friedrich Martius was a German internist who was one of the pioneers of constitutional thought in medicine. He was the father of philosopher Hedwig Conrad-Martius (1888–1966).

Anne Emily Innes-Ker, Duchess of Roxburghe was the daughter of the 7th Duke of Marlborough, who served in Conservative governments as Lord President of the Council and Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. She served as Mistress of the Robes to Queen Victoria.
