Alfred E. Mann, also known as Al Mann, was an American physicist, inventor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.

Paul Michel Gabriel, Baron Lévy was a Belgian journalist and professor. He was born in Brussels and was a Holocaust survivor. He worked for many years as Director of Information at the Council of Europe, helping to create the Flag of Europe in the 1950s in collaboration with Arsène Heitz.

Percy Yutar was a lawyer who became South Africa's first Jewish attorney-general. He is most noted as the state prosecutor in the Rivonia trial in which anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela and seven others were convicted of sabotage and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Ralph Teetor was a prolific inventor who invented cruise control. He was the longtime president of the automotive parts manufacturer The Perfect Circle Co. in Hagerstown, Indiana, a manufacturer of piston rings.
