Gilbert Warrenton was a prominent American silent and sound film cinematographer. He filmed over 150 films before his death. Notable credits include The Cat and the Canary (1927) and several B-movies of the 1950s and 1960s.

Ernest Beaumont Schoedsack was an American motion picture cinematographer, producer, and director. He worked on several films with Merian C. Cooper including King Kong and Chang: A Drama of the Wilderness.

Frank Lindsay Bastedo, was a Canadian lawyer who served as the 11th Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan. He is notable for being one of the few Canadian vice-regal representatives to refuse to give royal assent to a legislative bill.

Vincent Richard Impellitteri was an American politician and judge who served as the 101st Mayor of New York City, 1950-53. He was elected as a Democrat as president of the City Council in 1945, and reelected in 1949. When Mayor William O'Dwyer resigned in 1950, he became acting mayor. He lost the Democratic primary for the nomination for a full term but was subsequently elected mayor on a new ticket, the "Experience Party". He lost the Democratic primary when he ran for reelection in 1953, and became a judge in 1954.

Gustav Meier was a Swiss-born conductor and director of the Orchestra Conducting Program at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. He was also Music Director of the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra in Connecticut, for more than 40 years (1972–2013).
