Anne Veronica Maria Quayle, known professionally as Anna Quayle, was an English actress. In 1963, she received a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in the original production of Stop the World – I Want to Get Off.

Ivan "Ivica" Horvat was a Croatian professional football player and manager who capped for Yugoslavia. In 2004 he received the Croatian Olympic Committee's Matija Ljubek Award.

John Crowe Ransom was an American educator, scholar, literary critic, poet, essayist and editor. He is considered to be a founder of the New Criticism school of literary criticism. As a faculty member at Kenyon College, he was the first editor of the widely regarded Kenyon Review. Highly respected as a teacher and mentor to a generation of accomplished students, he also was a prize-winning poet and essayist.

Mordecai Wyatt Johnson was an American educator and pastor. He served as the first African-American president of Howard University, from 1926 until 1960. Johnson has been considered one of the three leading African-American preachers of the early 20th-century, along with Vernon Johns and Howard Thurman.

Josef "Josl" Rieder was an Austrian alpine skier. He competed at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo, but was disqualified in the downhill event and failed to finishing the slalom. He lit the Olympic Flame at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. At the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1958, he won three medals with a gold in slalom and silvers in the giant slalom and combination events.

Anthony Caruso was an American character actor in more than one hundred American films, usually playing villains and gangsters, including the first season of Walt Disney's Zorro as Captain Juan Ortega.
