Father Jerome D'Souza, SJ was an Indian Jesuit priest, educationist, writer and member of the Indian Constituent assembly (1946–50).

Maurice Escande was a French stage and film actor. In 1948 he starred in the film The Lame Devil under Sacha Guitry.

Münevver Andaç was a translator of Turkish literature. She was the partner of the poet Nazim Hikmet and had a son with him named Mehmet. She translated Hikmet's work into French, as she did for many other Turkish writers. She was also responsible for introducing Orhan Pamuk to the Francophone world. Pamuk has acknowledged Andaç's role in making his work available in French.

Pierre Coquelin de Lisle was a French sport shooter who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. In 1924 he won the gold medal in the 50 metre rifle, prone competition.

René Hubert was a Swiss costume designer. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for his work on costumes.

Andrés Soler was a Mexican actor. He was considered one of the greatest figures of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Soler appeared in about two hundred films and received four Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actor nominations in his long career.
