Laurie Bird
Laurie Bird was an American film actress and photographer. She appeared in three films during the 1970s. Two of them were directed by Monte Hellman. She was romantically involved with Hellman and Art Garfunkel, committing suicide in the latter's apartment by taking an overdose of Valium. Bird inspired one of Tim Kinsella's novels.
Robert Dietrich
Robert Dietrich was a professional ice hockey defenceman. He was killed in the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash, in which all players and coaches on board the plane from the club perished.

Luis Andrés Caicedo
Luis Andrés Caicedo Estela was a Colombian writer born in Cali, the city where he would spend most of his life. Despite his premature death, his works are considered to be some of the most original produced in Colombia. Caicedo led different cultural movements in the city like the literary group "Los Dialogantes", the Cinema Club of Cali and the "Ojo con el Cine" Magazine. In 1970 he won the First Literary Contents of Caracas with his work "Los dientes de caperucita" that opened the doors of national recognition for him. Some sources say that he used to say that to live more than 25 years was a shame and it is seen as the main reason of his suicide on March 4, 1977, when he was that age.

Atsuhito Nakata
Atsuhito Nakata was a Japanese UN Volunteer working as a District Electoral Supervisor with the United Nations who was gunned down in Kampong Thom, Cambodia along with his friend and interpreter Lek Sopheip. As a United Nations Volunteer, Nakata traveled to Cambodia to help organize the first national elections at the community level in Cambodia after the reign of the Khmer Rouge. Nakata was one of 465 UNV District Election Volunteer Election Supervisors deployed with the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia.
Nathan Gale
On December 8, 2004, four people were murdered and three others were wounded in a mass shooting at the Alrosa Villa nightclub in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Heavy metal musician Dimebag Darrell, the main target of the attack, was on stage with his band Damageplan when the shooting took place. The perpetrator, 25-year-old Nathan Gale, was shot and killed by police officer James Niggemeyer, as Gale held a wounded victim hostage.
