Ryota Fujii is a Japanese baseball player for the CITYLIGHT OKAYAMA. He has played for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).

Emeric, also known as Henry or Imre, was King of Hungary and Croatia between 1196 and 1204. In 1184, his father, Béla III of Hungary, ordered that he be crowned king, and appointed him as ruler of Croatia and Dalmatia around 1195. Emeric ascended the throne after the death of his father. During the first four years of his reign, he fought his rebellious brother, Andrew, who forced Emeric to make him ruler of Croatia and Dalmatia as appanage.

Bengt Skytte (1614–1683) was a Swedish courtier and diplomat. He was a follower of Comenius and proposed a pansophic city, "Sophopolis".

Giuseppe "Pippo" Calò is an Italian mobster and member of the Sicilian Mafia in Porta Nuova. He was referred to as the "cassiere di Cosa Nostra" because he was heavily involved in the financial side of organized crime, primarily money laundering. He was arrested in 1985 and charged with ordering the murder of Roberto Calvi – nicknamed "Il banchiere di Dio" – of the Banco Ambrosiano in 1982, but was acquitted in 2007 due to "insufficient evidence" in a surprise verdict. After Calò was sentenced to 23 years' imprisonment as part of the 1986/87 Maxi Trial, he was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1989 for organising the 1984 Train 904 bombing. He was given several further life sentences between 1995 and 2002.

Ibrahima Kébé was a Senegalese Soninke painter. He lived until his death in Village des Arts de Dakar.

Gilbert Albert was a Swiss jeweler. He established his jewelry house and opened his own atelier in 1962. Thereafter he designed art jewelry, mostly using 18 karat gold with rough cut stones and unconventional materials, such as fossilized dinosaur bones and hardened lava rocks. The brand has boutiques in Geneva, Zurich, Moscow, Paris, and its flagship store in New York City.

Utako Shimoda was a Japanese educator and poet of the Meiji and Taishō period. Born in present-day Ena, Gifu, she was the founder of what is today Jissen Women's University.
