Johannes Hint was an Estonian scientist and the only person to create and successfully run a limited company under the communist planned economy of the Soviet Union. With his company, Dessim Ltd, he earned millions for the Soviet Union. His most important scientific invention was the building material silikaltsiit (Laprex), which was developed through the execution of the disintegrator system. His inventions are still widely used in Germany, Austria, the United States, Japan and Russia. Over 200 scientific publications, 62 inventions and 28 patents are accredited to his name.

Karl Strecker
Karl Strecker was a German general during World War II who commanded several army corps on the Eastern Front. A career military and police professional, he fought in World War I and then served in the paramilitary Security Police of the Weimar Republic. Strecker welcomed the rise of Hitler and found favor with the regime, earning rapid promotions in the armed forces of Nazi Germany, the Wehrmacht. Strecker commanded the German Army's XI Army Corps in the Battle of Stalingrad and was the last German general to surrender his command in the city. He spent twelve years in Soviet captivity before being released in 1955.

She was the first model from Argentina to win the title. The pageant was held in London, United Kingdom. Her prize was £500 and a sports car. After her reign as Miss World ended, Cappagli worked as a model. In 1962, she recorded the song "Sexy World" with Armando Sciascia. The song is featured in the T.V. show Velvet. She died in Fernández Hospital in Buenos Aires on 22 December 2020 after being run over by a bus on December 17.
