Laraine Day was an American actress, radio and television commentator and a former Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer contract star. As a leading lady, she was paired opposite major film stars including Robert Mitchum, Lana Turner, Cary Grant, Ronald Reagan, Kirk Douglas, and John Wayne. As well as her numerous film and television roles, she acted on stage, conducted her own radio and television shows, and wrote two books. Owing to her marriage to Leo Durocher and her involvement with his baseball career, she was known as "The First Lady of Baseball". Abderrahmane Sissako is a Mauritanian-born Malian film director and producer. His film Waiting for Happiness (Heremakono) was screened at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival official selection under Un Certain Regard, winning the FIPRESCI Prize. His 2007 film Bamako received much attention. Sissako's themes include globalisation, exile and the displacement of people. His 2014 film Timbuktu was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or in the main competition section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival and nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

Rutanya Alda is a Latvian-American actress. She began her career in the late 1960s, and went on to have supporting parts in The Deer Hunter (1978), Rocky II (1979), and the cult classic film Mommie Dearest (1981). She also appeared in a lead role in the horror films Amityville II: The Possession and Girls Nite Out.

Aykut Oray was a Turkish actor active between 1963 and 2009. He was, perhaps, best known for his work on the Turkish dramatic comedy series, Bizimkiler. Oray also had a brief career in politics during his later life, becoming a member of the Republican People's Party.

John Joseph MacGowran was an Irish actor, probably best known for his work with Samuel Beckett. His last film role was as the alcoholic director Burke Dennings in The Exorcist (1973).

Francheska Alfredovna Yarbusova, often credited as F. Yarbusova, is an award-winning Russian artist and the wife and collaborator of Yuri Norstein, daughter of Alfred L. Yarbus a scientist famous for understanding how eye movements help us explore images. Yarbusova received a degree in film animation from VGIK in 1967, after which she began working for Soyuzmultfilm in the roles of art director or artist. She debuted as art director in the film A Little Locomotive from Romashkovo, directed by Vladimir Degtyaryov, in 1967. She also worked on other films such as A White Skin and Plasticine Hedgehog, but is primarily known for her work as the art director and artist in the films of Yuri Norstein, beginning with The Battle of Kerzhenets in 1971. She is currently working with her husband on an adaptation of Gogol's Overcoat.
